LUCKNOW: An official spokesperson of Reliance Power on Friday blamed the company’s corporate rivals for handing out slanted information regarding the High Court’s judgment. Maintaining that the land acquisition for the project had not been set aside, the Reliance spokesperson said in a press statement that notification under Sec. 4 of the Land Acquisition Act in relation to the acquisition of land had, in fact, been upheld by the Court. The spokesperson said the State Government had been directed by the High Court to follow certain procedures in the acquisition process. The spokesperson said the company was hopeful that the State Government would ensure the implementation of the project at the earliest. Stating that all the approvals and clearances were in place, the spokesperson said the company was committed to setting up the gas-based power project in Dhirubhai Ambani Energy City in the Ghaziabad district.
