BANGALORE: The team of Girijashankar Joshy and Srikkanth Gowda maintained its overall lead on the second day of the Maruti Suzuki Dakshin Dare rally on Friday. Starting from Hotel Lakeview, Ooty, the teams drove through some unexplored routes around Ooty which had some rough stages owing to the recent heavy rains. The hairpins and sharp corners added to the challenge. The rallyists finally made it to Masunagudi at the end of the day. The rally will begin again on Saturday morning and will end in Bangalore.
