Interest subsidy on housing loans

VILLUPURAM: An interest subsidy on housing loans will be given to the economically weaker sections residing in municipalities and town panchayats, according to Collector R. Palanisamy.

For instance, those having a monthly income of up to Rs.3,300 would be eligible to get a housing loan of Rs. 1 lakh, and those with a monthly income above Rs. 3,300 and below Rs.7,300 would be eligible to get a housing loan of Rs.1.60 lakh.
