‘Congress MPs trying to impress Centre’
Staff Reporter
NALGONDA: Reiterating that the Congress MPs of Telangana were trying their level best to apprise the party high command of the significance of separate Telangana movement, Nalgonda Member of Parliament Gutta Sukhender Reddy has asserted that they were also contributing in their own way to the cause of a separate statehood.
Addressing mediapersons here on Saturday, Mr. Reddy said “We have informed the Prime Minister about the necessity and importance of carving out a separate Telangana State,” he said. “We have also sought an audience with the Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Monday to explain to her about the present situation in Telangana,” he added.
“Conveying the aspirations of the people of Telangana to Centre should be construed as our contribution to the separate Telangana movement in a peaceful manner.”
