MANGALORE: The 24th Indian Engineering Congress will be held at the National Institute of Technology — Karnataka (NIT-K), Surathkal, for four-days from December 10. The theme of the event, hosted jointly by the NIT-K and the Institution of Engineers (India), will be “National growth and security technological challenges”. Sandeep Sancheti, Director, NIT-K and also chairman of the 24th congress, told presspersons here that the congress was being held in Karnataka after a gap of nine years. Eighty technical papers would be presented in 12 technical sessions from December 11 to 13, he said.
