City man held by Goa police for impersonation

PANAJI: Santosh K. Meheska, a resident of Hyderabad, who was arrested by Goa police on Friday for impersonating the Consul for the Consulate of Republic of Poland (Hyderabad), was on Saturday remanded to seven days in police custody by a local court in Panaji.
Mr. Janusz Bylinski, Consul General of Republic of Poland (Mumbai), who was staying at Dona Paula near here, was on Friday shocked to find a man impersonating the Consul in Hyderabad as a Polish Consul did not exist in that city. Mr. Bylinski lodged a police complaint leading to the man’s arrest.
