Manupal sparkles
NEW DELHI: Manupal Godara scorched the field with six goals to help Jaipur Polo Company to a thrilling 7-1/2 goals to 7 victory over Cavalry Black in the final of the Challenge Cup 8-goal polo tournament at the Jaipur Polo ground here on Sunday.
Siddhant Sharma scored the other goal for the champion side which had started with a half-goal handicap advantage.
Ravi Rathore (3), Tarun Sirohi (2) and Vishal Chauhan (2) fought hard for Cavalry Black, which called the shots at the half way stage by leading 4 goals to 2 1/2 after two chukkers. — Special Correspondent
