Shop burgled

A shop dealing in perfumes in Burma Bazaar was reportedly burgled on early Saturday. The suspects decamped with Rs.27,000 and a mobile phone.

North Beach police said the burglary occurred at the shop owned by Ramachandran (37) of Vyasarpadi after he closed it on Friday night. The culprits reportedly gained access into the shop after breaking open the temporary wooden planks erected to cover a damaged rear wall, police added.
