Two senior citizens -- Jagannatha Rao (72) and his sister Nirmala Devi (68) committed suicide by hanging themselves at their house at Ramnagar on Sunday. The incident came to light when they were not responding to the apartment security guard’s calls. Sensing something suspicious, he informed the matter to other flat owners who alerted police. Police broke open the main door and found Rao and Devi hanging to the ceiling fan hook. Police said they could have ended their lives due to loneliness. Search on for murder-accusedThe Cyberabad police have launched a manhunt to trace a murder-accused Narasimha Reddy who ran away from the Cherlapally open air jail on Sunday morning. Reddy, hailing from Medak district, was lodged in the jail for last few months for his alleged involvement in a murder case, according to police. Case against constablesPolice on Sunday booked a case against two SIB constables for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl. The constables identified as Satyanarayana and Kamal lured the girl after she got down from a train at Secunderabad railway station, took her to a secluded place and committed the crime.
