He may petition the Court if Prime Minister fails to grant it by December 15
CHENNAI: Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy on Sunday said he would file a petition in the Court seeking sanction to prosecute Union Information Technology and Communications Minister A. Raja for the alleged irregularities in the allotment of 2G spectrum.
Talking to reporters Dr.Swamy said he would give one more notice to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to grant him sanction by December 15.
Dr.Swamy, who has been demanding that the Madurai Airport be named after freedom fighter Muthuramalinga Thevar urged the DMK government to send its approval to the Centre.
“The Centre has asked the State government for a no objection to my proposal to name the Airport after Muthuramalinga Thevar,” he said.
He added that the Janata Party along with the BJP, RSS and VHP and other Hindu organisations would launch a protest if the State failed to respond favourably.
