Coimbatore: The five-day Hindu Metro Plus Lifestyle Show, a consumer fair presented by Samsung will begin at CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex here on Thursday. With over 35,000 visitors last year, it is a retail shopping extravaganza offering a variety of products to customers under one roof. Beginning with Chennai in 2004 it has been a phenomenal success over the years. Making a statement in lifestyle and shopping, the show will bring together a host of big brands and display a range of lifestyle products at about 150 stalls. A range of consumer electronics, computer and IT products, automobiles and accessories, furniture and furnishing, kitchen accessories, home appliances, bathroom fittings, arts and handicrafts, beauty and healthcare products, real estate, home needs, textiles, clubs and resorts and gift items will be available. For the fifth successive year Samsung will be the main sponsor of the event. They will showcase their high-end LED, LCD and plasma televisions. The co-sponsors of the event are: Jute Manufacturing Development Council, Max New York Life Insurance and The Chennai Silks. The show will be open from 10 a.m. to 8.30 p.m. Entry fee is Rs. 25 a person. I Ads & Events, a subsidiary of Icare Communication, Bangalore, will be the event partner.
