GKSF: first weekly draw on December 13

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The first weekly draw of the Grand Kerala Shopping Festival (GKSF) will be held at Kollam beach, North Paravur and Kozhikode beach on December 13.

The other weekly draws of the 45-day festival will be on December 20 and 27 and January 3, 10 and 17, GKSF Director K.N. Satheesh said here on Monday. The 14 districts have been divided into north, central and south zones for the weekly draws.

In each zone, six first prizes, six second prizes and 100 third prizes will be given every week. The first prize is 10 sovereigns of gold, second prize, five sovereigns and third prize, one sovereign.

The weekly draw on December 20 will be held at St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram, Tirunakkara Maidan in Kottayam district and Kottakunnu in Malappuram.

On December 27, the weekly draw will be held at Thiruvalla , Fort Maidan, Palakkad, and Vadakara in Kozhikode. The weekly draw will be held at Alappuzha beach, Thekkinkadu Madan in Thrissur district and Kalpetta in Wayanad district on January 3.

The weekly draw on January 10 will be held at Balaramapuram in Thiruvananthapuram, Thodupuzha in Idukki district and Kasaragod. The last weekly draw on January 17 will be held at Chengannur, Ernakulam and Thalasserry.
