Thrissur: The Town East police on Tuesday intercepted at the Swaraj Round here a vehicle of the Karnataka police allegedly involved in a hit-and-run accident and handed it over to the Cherpu police. Two persons sustained minor injuries when the motorcycle they were riding collided with the Karnataka police vehicle at Palakkal. The police vehicle in which five policemen were travelling did not stop after the incident. The Cherpu police later released the vehicle seized. No case has been registered. — Staff Reporter
