Awareness of global warming to be created

Staff Reporter

Conferences, rallies, contests

and cultural programmes planned among students

Nagercoil: The Tamil Nadu Federation of Voluntary Agencies (TAFVA) here has decided to conduct various programmes to create an awareness among the people of global warming.

Global warming is the generation’s greatest challenge. And solving it is the greatest opportunity to build a healthy and prosperous future. Community leaders, peer organisations, and founders recognised climate solutions as those countries concerned about the global warming should come together to tackle climate change. Help us build from the record of success toward a bigger and more powerful regional campaign for solutions, one that inspired the world, said the district convener, R. Arul Kannan.

All the non-governmental organisations here sought the help of their colleagues to handle the issue. It was decided to organise various processions, conferences, rallies, competitions and cultural programmes among the college and school students to create an awareness.
