Kozhikode: The Popular Front of India (PFI), earlier known as National Development Front (NDF), has taken exception to the observations made by High Court Judge K.T. Sankaran while rejecting anticipatory bail applications moved by the accused in a case related to alleged abduction and conversion to Islam of two MBA students in Pathanamthitta. The judge’s observations were not based on evidence; his remarks were capable of creating mistrust among religious groups, PFI State general secretary P. Abdul Hameed and State treasurer K.H. Nasser said in a statement here on Thursday.
