KOZHIKODE: The Coast Guard station welcomed the members of the Army sailing expedition at Beypore on Saturday morning. Indian Coast Guard has been tracking the expedition and providing rescue coverage for the two whalers (wooden boats) used for the voyage. The expedition, which began on November 29 from Mumbai, is undertaken by the Ninth Corps Reunion of the Corps of Indian Army EME Sailing Association. It would end in Kochi on December 17. P. Pradeepan, Public Relations Officer of Indian Coast Guard Station in Beypore, said the team would be in Beypore till December 14. The expedition would be flagged off from Beypore at 5 p.m. on December 15.
