THANJAVUR: A holiday has been declared for schools in Thanjavur district on Thursday in view of heavy rains. M. S. Shanmugham, Collector, issued orders declaring Thursday as a holiday for schools, a release said. TiruvarurM. Chandrasekaran, Collector, declared a holiday for all schools in the district on Thursday in view of heavy rains. PudukottaiAll government and private schools in the district will remain closed on Thursday. Collector A. Suganthi issued orders to this effect here on Wednesday.
