Bag containing Rs.5 lakh snatched

NEW DELHI: Three young men allegedly snatched a bag containing Rs.5 lakh from two businessmen in Laxmi Nagar here on Wednesday.

Shyam Sunder (58) and his brother Jagdish Prasad (55) got down from a Blueline bus at Laxmi Nagar traffic signal around 10 p.m. and were walking home with the cash when the young men snatched their bag and fled.

The two are wholesale dealers in ghee and oil and were returning from their shop when the incident took place. The two are residents of Shakarpur.
