PT warrant against Ramalinga Raju

HYDERABAD: Taking a serious view of the non-compliance of summons to him, a court here issued prisoners transit (PT) warrant for producing former Satyam Computers chairman B. Ramalinga Raju on December 30. Ramalinga Raju who is undergoing treatment for Hepatitis – C infection in the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), failed to appear for examination of distorted figures of profit and loss in the Satyam fraud in a special court for economic offences.

After enquiring, the judge, T. Rajani, asked the counsel for SFIO, C. Raghu, to file a petition for his production to issue the PT warrant.
