Only 800 H-1B visa slots remain vacant

Washington: After months of low-key response, the H-1B visa scheme, once most sought after among Indian professionals, is suddenly in demand again, with just 800 of the 65,000 remaining slots.

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services said it had almost reached the Congressionally-mandated cap of 65,000. — PTI
