Computer hardware traders call for courses in Malayalam

KOCHI: Computer hardware traders have called for courses in Malayalam to popularise Malayalam Unicode among the public.

The demand came up at a meeting on Malayalam computing organised jointly by the State IT Mission, Akshaya Project, and district administration here. Additional District Magistrate K.N. Raje inaugurated the meeting.

Representatives of IT dealers’ association asked to make available to hardware dealers inscript keyboard, sticker, Malayalam typing aid, and Malayalam computing poster. — Staff Reporter
