KSRTC launches Volvo Express buses

Coimbatore: Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation has introduced Volvo and Express service on the Coimbatore – Mysore, Coimbatore – Bangalore and Coimbatore – Singeri sectors.

A release from R. Jayabalan of KSRTC said that the bus to Mysore would depart every day from Coimbatore SETC bus stand at 2.30 p.m. to reach there at 7.30 p.m.

The fare would be Rs. 227. It would depart Mysore at 8 a.m. and arrive at SETC Bus stand – Gandhipuram at 1 p.m.

The bus to Bangalore via Salem would depart at 10 p.m. to reach there at 4.30 a.m. The fare would be Rs. 429.

It would depart Bangalore at 10.10 p.m. to reach Coimbatore via Salem at 4.40 a.m.

Another bus service to Bangalore from Coimbatore via Sathyamangalam, Chamraj Nagar and Kollegal will depart at 6.35 a.m. and reach Bangalore at 3.05 p.m.

Another bus on the same route would depart at 8.30 p.m. and arrive Bangalore at 5 a.m. The fare would be Rs. 158.

Similarly, the bus for Singeri would leave Gandhipuram bus stand at 9 p.m. and reach Singeri at 9.30 a.m.

It would leave Singeri at 4.30 p.m. via Mysore, Hassan, Chikmagalur and arrive Coimbatore at 5 a.m.

Tickets could be booked at KSRTC counter on VKK Menon Road, Sidhapudur, Sri Ram Mess-KSRTC counter on Avanashi Road at Hope College.

Reservation counters would be shortly opened at R.S. Puram, Saravanampatti, Avanashi, Tirupur, Pollachi, Annur, Sathyamangalam and Erode.
