BANGALORE: Under the guidance of a senior National Anti Doping Agency (NADA) official here, Doping Control Officers from SAI, South Centre, took urine samples of nearly 15 athletes, for testing on the second and third day of the 75th All India Inter railway athletic championship. “We have been directed to conduct the tests and send the samples to Delhi,” said the DCO, a senior weightlifting coach from the SAI centre here. “The results could probably take few weeks or even a month or two,” he added. Regarding the athletes targeted, he said: “It was being done at random.” But going by the list, the urine samples of gold medallists were taken over the last two days.
