Stone laid for TNEGA building in Tuticorin

Tuticorin: The foundation stone for a new building was laid on the premises of Tamil Nadu Government Employees’ Association here on Sunday. K.R. Sankaran, former General Secretary, TNGEA, also performed the bhumi pooja on the occasion along with other members.
K.S. Veerabahu, president, building committee, said that the welfare activities of the members would not be confined to government employees alone but it would be extended for the uplift of the poor and downtrodden.
Around 200 members from Tuticorin, Tirunelveli and Virudhunagar districts attended.
