NEW DELHI: Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Sunday admitted that she was feeling nervous about the fast approaching Commonwealth Games. But, she expressed confidence, in the end, the capital would put up a good show. “I am not feeling comfortable. I am rather nervous, but I think we can do it,” Ms. Dikshit told journalists after attending a meeting of the Group of Ministers here. The GoM, chaired by Union Urban Development Minister S. Jaipal Reddy, took stock of the progress of work on the Games to be held in October 2010. The GoM, which meets virtually every week, on Sunday mainly discussed the opening and closing ceremonies. A detailed presentation on the ceremonies was made by creative director Bharat Bala and members of a core team, Javed Akhtar, Prasoon Joshi and Shyam Benegal. Union Tourism and Culture Minister Ambika Soni, Human Resource Development Minister Kapil Sibal, and Sports Minister M.S. Gill, besides Ms. Dikshit, attended the meeting, which also took stock of the various projects related to the Games.
