Natl. handball from today

KOLKATA: Thirty teams are in fray in the 38th senior National handball championship for men commencing on Tuesday.

Services will defend the title it won last year. Runner-up Delhi is expected to challenge the supremacy of the army outfit.

This National championship will be a selection meet for the South Asian Federation Games and Asian Games.

The Handball Federation of India will introduce the upper pool and lower pool system from this meet.
