Kerala, Karnataka lose

KOLKATA: Kerala and Karnataka lost their opening round league matches to Uttarakhand and Services respectively in the 38th senior National handball championship for men here on Tuesday.

The results: Uttarakhand bt Kerala 29-25; Andaman bt Bihar 30-23, Haryana bt Assam 41-25, Manipur bt UP 29-25, J & K bt Tripura 33-15.

MP bt HP 34-23, Services bt Karnataka 20-9, National Academy bt AP 45-17 and Maharashtra bt Goa 36-19. — Special Correspondent
