Speaker’s plea

Thiruvananthapuram: Speaker K. Radhakrishnan, on Tuesday, urged the government to revamp the public education sector in a manner that would make it appealing to the new generation. He was inaugurating a training scheme for government schoolteachers here. He said the poor should get the same educational opportunities available to the privileged classes. IT@school Executive Director Anwar Sadat was present. — Staff Reporter
