Nepali watchman resists robbery attempt, murdered

HYDERABAD: Robbers murdered a Nepali watchman Tilak, 20, when the latter resisted their attempts to loot a wine shop at Nagaram in Keesara police station area on city outskirts in the small hours of Tuesday.

The killers smashed his head by hitting with an iron rod, the Inspector T. Manohar Reddy said.

The assailants made a hole on the rear side of the shop’s single brick wall to sneak inside. “It seems they attacked Tilak when he noticed and tried to resist them,” the police said. No property or cash was lost from the shop.
