Hindi book ‘Breaking News’ released

JAIPUR: A Hindi book titled “Breaking News” authored by media expert and Hindi-Punjabi writer Krishan Kumar Rattu was released at Jawahar Kala Kendra here on Tuesday with the remark that breaking news had now become the “essence of television journalism”.

“It pulls in the viewers out of curiosity and gives them the first glimpse of truth behind the news,” said Dr. Rattu at the book release function.

The Vice-Chancellor of Central University of Rajasthan, M. M. Salunkhe, released the book while observing that as the first book of its kind in Hindi language, it would enlighten the readers about the functioning of electronic media.

Among others, the Vice-Chancellor of Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University, Kota, Naresh Dadhich, Hindi author Geetanjali and educationist Kamla Rattu attended the function.
