The new set of wheels to be seen on

Staff Reporter

Bangalore: The launch of the new Pulsar 135 LS (Light Sport) here on Wednesday also marked the handing over of the keys to Pulsar’s 2.5 millionth customer. Launched by Bajaj Auto Ltd., the new variant of Pulsar has been described by its General Manager (Two-wheelers) Milind Bade as “lightweight and sleek with a rigid frame and a state-of-the-art four valve DTS-i engine”.

Mr. Bade told presspersons that the all-new Pulsar was designed to add a whole new dimension to the motorcycle market by creating a new Light Sports segment. “Our vision is to make India “a country of bikers” from a “country of commuters”.

He said it was launched with an aim to expand the Pulsar franchise by removing all barriers.
