HYDERABAD: From the bylanes of Bapuji Nagar (Musheerabad) to an entry into the special edition to be brought out by the Guinness Book of World Records soon. It has been a journey going on in the world of adventure despite acute hardship. For, Konda Sahadev, doesn’t even have a regular job. But at 29, this taekwondo coach, who teaches the finer aspects of martial arts has himself decided to take a different route to attain some sort of stardom. According to a communication from the publishers, Sahadev was informed that his 2007 feat – of 10 APSRTC buses running over his bear forearm and fingers in 2007 - will figure in the list of extraordinary achievements. “Your communication has been selected for inclusion in the book although, for data privacy reasons, it will have to remain anonymous. I do hope that you are pleased with this,” says the communication from Craig Glenday, Editor-in-Chief, Guinness Book of World Records. It was made clear that the book will acknowledge some of the correspondence received over the years from different adventure feats like one by Sahadev from the city. His name already figures in the Limca Book of Records 2009 for pulling a 1595 kg Toyota Qualis (in December 2005) with his little finger to a distance of 228.6 m in four minutes. He is a qualified black belt in taekwondo thanks to the support extended by internationally acknowledged martial arts expert M. Jayanth Reddy and is a regular coach.
