Vivekananda Reddy ends fast

KADAPA: Kadapa MLC Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy, broke his nine-day-long fast in Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences hospital here on Wednesday evening and described it as a “people’s victory”. He called off his fast on being informed of the high command’s announcement from party leaders in New Delhi. District Collector Shashi Bhushan Kumar and Superintendent of Police D.S. Chauhan offered him lemon juice.
