Thrissur
Thrissur: M.A. Yusuf Ali, managing director of the EMKE group, has won elections to the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He contested the election under the banner of the Abu Dhabi First Alliance. Of the 2,599 votes polled, Mr. Ali got 2,256 votes. Elections were held for 15 seats. Thirteen were local candidates and the rest expatriates, according to a press release here on Thursday.—Staff Reporter
