Hamirpur: Keeping in mind former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s concern for development of Himachal Pradesh, a newly built cricket stadium was on Friday dedicated in his name in Hamirpur district. Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal inaugurated the new stadium named after Mr. Vajpayee on his birthday on Friday, saying the former PM had a soft-corner for the hill State and had approved many developmental projects for it. The stadium was built by Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) at Nadaun at a cost of Rs 5 crore.
