Abducted girl rescued

Jammu: A kidnapped girl was rescued and her abductor .was arrested in Jammu on Friday, police officials said here.

Acting on a complaint by the parents of the minor girl that she had been kidnapped from village Falai Mandal area in Satwari belt of the city on December 15, a police team headed by an SHO raided several places in this connection, the police officials said.

After a successful raid, the team arrested kidnapper Raj Kumar and recovered the girl, they said adding girl was restored to her parents after a medical examination in Government Medical College (GMC) hospital here.
