Rafi remembered

NEW DELHI: A large number of fans remembered legendary singer Mohammad Rafi at a function here earlier this week to celebrate his 85th birthday.

A short film “Rafi -- Tum Bahut Yaad Aaaye” on the life and songs of Rafi was screened on the occasion.

Filmmaker Kuldeep Singh said making a film on the renowned singer was like a dream come true. “I have been toying with the idea of making a movie on Rafi Sahib ever since his death in 1980.”
