Shimla: Nearly 1,500 cases were on Sunday solved at mega Lok Adalat organised in Shimla to expeditiously deal with pending cases. Altogether 193 cases under Negotiable Instrument Act (NIA) and 1,288 cases under Motor Vehicle Act (MVA) were solved in the special Lok Adalat, Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Yashwant Singh Chogal, who himself headed one of the bench said. Eight benches were constituted by the district and sessions judge B. R. Chandel for the purpose, he added.
