Hoax bomb call

NEW DELHI: A call claiming that a bomb had been planted inside Satyam Cineplex led the police to evacuate the hall and nearby restaurants in Janakpuri here on Sunday evening.

Bomb detection and disposal teams searched the entire premises, but know explosives were found. Subsequently the call was declared a hoax. Initial investigations revealed that the call had been made from a public telephone booth.

The police have registered a case and are trying to identify the caller.
