CHIKMAGALUR: Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa has said that he will lead an all-party delegation to meet the Prime Minister, the Finance Minister and the Commerce Minister in New Delhi on January 13 to discuss the implementation of the Mahadayi scheme, release of Central funds to the State and a relief package for coffee growers.

Speaking to presspersons at Sringeri on Sunday, Mr. Yeddyurappa said he was holding consultations with financial experts. He said D.V. Sadananda Gowda would convene a legislature party meeting in Bangalore on Monday to discuss the budget.

Distributing pattas to 37 beneficiaries under the Scheduled Tribes and Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, he said his Government was committed to providing basic facilities to forest dwellers. He said land will be granted to people in Kudremukh National Park and other parts of the State.
