Gold medals given away

VISAKHAPATNAM: The New Year began on a festive note in the Department of Medicine with the award of Dr. V. Hanumanta Rao’s Gold Medal for Excellence to the best PG in the university examination. Set up by former students of Dr. Hanumanta Rao, including present Head of the Department and Superintendent of KGH M.V.R.J. Somayajulu and Sudhir, physician in Srikakulam, the medal made of one tola of gold is being awarded since the last 5 years.
