Rishikesh: A lioness and a deer were found dead in the Dhikala range of the Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand, officials said on Tuesday. The carcasses were found on Monday night. The lioness was pregnant and its body bore fresh injury marks. — PTI Corrections and Clarifications The heading and text of the PTI story on Jim Corbett National Park (Page 13, January 6, 2010) incorrectly said a lioness was found dead. It should have been tigress.
