PATIALA: The National Theatre Arts Society, Patiala, raised a Leprosy Welfare Fund of Rs.15,500 and 50 blankets at its 47th annual Padma Shri Khushdeva Singh National Integration Awards and Cultural Festival over the New Year weekend. The contributions for the fund, given away to the local Kusht Ashram, included Rs.5,000 from noted surgeon Dr. Ajmer Singh of Patiala Surgical Centre. The 50 blankets were gifted by Sanatam Dharam Kumar Sabha president Balkrishan Singla.
