Held for rape

Chennai: A man who allegedly raped his nine-year-old daughter was arrested by the Anna Salai police on Friday.

According to police, the accused Kusendran (40) of Althottam in Royapettah, under the influence of liquor, raped his daughter when she was alone at home. His wife K. Bhuvaneswari lodged a complaint with the police. The accused was produced in a city court and remanded to judicial custody.
