Symposium on child abuse

A symposium on ‘Child abuse’ for teachers of Corporation schools will be organised at 9.30 a.m. on Saturday at the Corporation Girls Higher Secondary School, Saidapet. The programme, being organised by The Women Doctors Association, will cover topics on physical, sexual, psychological and emotional abuse. Experts would interact with teachers to highlight the importance of their role in identifying and solving situations, a release said.
