2 Sri Lankan fishing boats seized

CHENNAI: The Coast Guard Ship Priyadarshini, in co-ordination with Dornier aircraft, has seized two Sri Lankan fishing boats. Eleven persons on board have been arrested and 2,800 kg of fish confiscated.

A Coast Guard release stated that the boats were found in Indian waters about 10 nautical miles east of Nagaylanka off the Andhra Pradesh coast. The boats were towed to Chennai by the Coast Guard ship Jijabai.
