Special camp
National Service Scheme volunteers of K.V.S. Higher Secondary School, Virudhunagar, participated in a week-long special camp with the theme ‘Healthy Youth and Wealthy India’ at Pavali village. The activities at the camp included a free medical camp, a free veterinary camp, temple cleaning and yogasana classes for residents of the village.
An awareness programme on the utility of 108 ambulance was also conducted at the camp.
Old students’ meet
The recent meeting of Kamak Old Students’ Association held at Kamak Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Tuticorin, featured a motivational talk, dance and skit. Tenzing of Kovilpatti, a trainer from Indian Junior Chamber, spoke on ‘Change management.’
Rabindran Kamak, president, and Vanaja Rajagopalan, correspondent, were present. Sathish Kumar, former secretary of KOSA, welcomed. Senthil Kani, Principal, and Solomon, secretary of KOSA, also spoke. Thanaventhan proposed a vote of thanks.
