Effigy burnt

Sirsi: Hundreds of BJP workers under the leadership of taluk panchayat president Sadanand Bhat and muncipal council president Ramesh Achari burned an effigy of the former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda at Postal Circle here on Monday in protest against the alleged derogatory outbursts of Mr. Gowda against Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa.
