‘Citizens must be proactive’

In response to the Public Eye “How the city fared in 2009”, Vasuda Ravichandran from Sarjapur Road, Junnasandra, writes:

The articles on the lack of administration, and inaction on the part of the civic bodies, were informative and interesting too. One view that has been seen reflected in all these articles is the civic problems citizens face is due to carelessness of the civic bodies. Are we as citizens proactive enough to stop these problems from aggravating to major health hazards or death traps?
