Ishan hits ton

NEW DELHI: Ishan Kumar hit a century as United Chambers of Law (UCL) defeated Young Association Shahdara (YAS) by 61 runs to reach the quarterfinals of the Sandeep Suri memorial cricket tournament at the Satyawati College ground here on Tuesday.

The scores: UCL 261 in 40 overs (Ishan Kumar 100, Parveen Yadav 36, Mohd. Mohsin 34, Kapil Mehta four for 59) bt YAS 200 in 35.4 overs (Pramod Bhatti 53, Vivek Srivastava 49, Dinesh Yadav 34, Vineet Rana three for 48).
